If you haven’t visited Heritage Park yet, consider stopping by the next time you have a free weekend afternoon. This community center not only houses some of the city’s finest recreational activities but is also a historical site operated by the Santa Fe Springs City Library. The site was first built as a ranch in the late 1800s and the original buildings and surrounding grounds were restored by the City at a later date. Located a half mile from Villages at Santa Fe Springs, Heritage Park is the perfect location to walk, bike or drive to any day of the week!
Occasionally, Heritage Park also hosts community events that are great for families of all sizes and ages. On April 21, bring the entire family out to enjoy of day of yesteryear filled with games, butter churning, arts and crafts – and pan for gold as you experience a day of life in the 1800s!
